In the book Beyond Entrepreneurship, Jim Collins suggests starting with values and all else follows. This means that values come before goals, strategy, tactics…. and even business plans. We uphold these core values to guide life and business.
Lindsay’s passion in life is to inspire, support and teach others. She pursued these passions as a therapist, consultant, entrepreneur and teacher. Lindsay fell in love with franchising as a franchisee and also enjoyed working as a franchise business coach and peer group facilitator. Understanding the opportunities in franchising led to the pursuit of FPPG with the goal of maximizing performance and relationships in franchise networks.
She earned a Master’s degree in Counseling and a Ph.D. in Business Psychology. She also teaches franchising and entrepreneurship courses as a Professor of Practice at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. She is a member of the Society of Industrial Organizational Psychologist (SIOP) and International Franchise Association (IFA).

Kay’s top five motivators are impact, learning, family, problem-solving and challenge. This combination allows her to cultivate meaningful relationships with others and support their personal growth. She enjoys guiding business owners towards a stronger understanding of their business using key metrics and the stories they tell to help turn goals into accomplishments.
Kay’s appreciation for franchising began while supporting franchisees, international franchisors, and leading franchise peer groups. She believes groups can be a powerful tool for business growth when trusting relationships and accountable environments support a healthy comparison amongst peers. She earned her CPA certificate and is pursuing her CFE through the International Franchise Association (IFA).

Nick is motivated by impact, family, autonomy, creativity and problem-solving. He has always loved supporting, developing and coaching business owners to achieve and exceed their goals, especially within franchise operations. As a specialist senior franchise and retail operations leader, Nick has led networks of franchisees and franchise support teams to ensure profitable franchise growth.
Nick has a love for learning and connecting the dots between great behaviors and commercial results. He has operated across multiple business formats and sectors with different cultures where he focuses on successfully converting insights from business metrics into actionable plans. He also believes in the power of groups to build accountability for growth.

Since FPPG is passionate about developing people who support franchisees, we knew it was vital to add a subject matter expert who specializes in training, learning systems, and applied knowledge.
Kay has 30 year’s experience in the science of learning and learning management systems. For eighteen of those years, she worked for a large franchise organization where she continually pursued new iterations for the training department to drive performance throughout the entire network.
Kay’s passion for training and the art of learning fuels her quest to utilize learning management systems. This supports and streamlines processes that uphold accessible learning for small teams and large organizations.
